- Serve three to four tables as determined by management
- Maintain complete knowledge of restaurant’s food and beverage preparation
- Sell alcohol and food items
- Enter and complete customers’ orders on computer system; accept different types of payment and make change
- Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner; ensure guests’ complete satisfaction by exceeding their expectations
- Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- Clear and reset tables
- Check identification of guests to consuming alcoholic beverages; refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age
- Observe the behavior of guests who have consumed alcoholic beverages, count the number of drinks served, and offer a taxi for those who should not drive, and ask for manager assistance with disorderly customers as needed
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform; maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy
- Perform other duties as directed
- Ability to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better
- State alcohol server license and food handler’s card required
- Basic mathematical skills; ability to make change
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous training experienced preferred
- Multi-task oriented
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items
